Apple may not have sent invites for the launch of iPhone 5 in September/October yet. But the fact is quite known that the production of iPhone 5 at Foxconn has gained momentum considering the demands and pre-orders. A while back, we told you about a Germany operator which had already started taking pre-order of an unreleased iPhone without providing any info on tech specs. According to a report from Digitimes, Foxconn is now producing 150,000 iPhone 5 a day and rest of the responsibility for 15% at early 2012 has been handed over to Pegatron.
The supply for iPhone 5 would be 5-6 million in September. Though, it would reach to over 22 million at the end of this year when the production of GSM as well as CDMA iPhone 4 would be lowered to a certain extent. As per the Digitmes sources, all other manufacturers for iPhone 5 parts like Largar precision for Lens, TPK holding for touch panel, G-Tech optoelectronics for the supply of glass, Simplo and Dyanpack for batteries are on their extreme level. However, we are not sure about the credibility of these sources. If this news turned out to be true then we can expect the launch of iPhone 5 really soon.
It is rumored that the much awaited iPhone 5 would have an elongated button in addition to a revamped design.
